Finally, we got to see some change. I feel that many professionals saw my tweet, maybe even a few commentators and Gautam Gambhir himself. Perhaps that’s why Gambhir asked Abhishek Sharma to take the strike. Sadly, Abhishek got out on the very first ball. Today, Sanju Samson got a good start, and hopefully he will play a big innings in the next match. 🙌

Simon Doull is absolutely spot on. Whenever Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma open together, Abhishek never takes the strike and often doesn’t even rotate singles. That puts extra pressure on Sanju. But when Abhishek opened with Gill, he took strike, rotated well, and eased Gill’s pressure.
