What is the salary difference between someone having a salary of 50L and 52L? Hardly 1k per month. The remaining 1.8L would be consumed by the government. Your company will ask you to do more and you are 2L more expensive but in reality only govt got the fruits.

@AVV0008 @IndiaNewGen If overall income goes above 50L, you have to pay 10% surcharge on the overall taxable amount. This sounds strange, but CA confirmed the same last year after many discussions.
