The fact that Michaela wore a black dress so that men would assume she's mourning and not approach her? Iconic if you ask me
aa ✄@heartofscandal
“the truth is far worse” in that low tone? Michaela was literally flirting lmao

This woman invited Chris Rock (known rapist) and Brad Pitt (known abuser) to her wedding, but she’s a feminist, and *I’m* the misogynist if I don’t kiss the ground she walks on just because she’s a woman lol ok 👍

Brad Pitt attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.

@r0zanovic @pinks4hllnv Sorry I don’t want to talk too much about locations, but it’s the whole idea of “Africans=black people” than not only Moroccans tend to think, it’s a very global misconception. So you would hear them say “Africans” and separate themselves from it cause they mean “black Africans”
English

@crimsonolo @pinks4hllnv mais c’est ça, y a un grand problème de colorisme même avec les marocains noirs c chelou :/ but i was talking about thinking of themselves as not africans, it’s just smth ive personally never heard of or seen in my entourage! what city did this happen? (si c’était au maroc)
Français

@r0zanovic @pinks4hllnv I am not saying that your experience is not true or anything like that but It’s sooo different than mine and many of the people I know. And not to mention that my experience is very much explained by the racism deeply imbedded in our culture that’s why I believe it.
English

@r0zanovic @pinks4hllnv C’est pas le cas, idk if you live in Morocco or if you ever lived in it but the majority of the Moroccans I have met, including me members of my own family share this sentiment. And it’s the default setting so when I meet someone who doesn’t believe it it’s a pleasant surprise
English

@r0zanovic @pinks4hllnv Just go ahead and deny the bad side of your people. One should reflect upon oneself and know what’s wrong with our countries and people, not just try to defend them blindly
English

@crimsonolo @pinks4hllnv Trust me! Nobody is superior than the other and we’re all africans and proud to be 🫶🏼💗
English

@r0zanovic @pinks4hllnv Just like ur letting a few good apples influence ur view on the rest.
English

@crimsonolo @pinks4hllnv i am also half moroccan and have never heard such opinions from moroccans and half moroccans. You said it yourself that it’s a generalization, u are letting a few bad apples influence your view on the rest
English

@r0zanovic @pinks4hllnv All is a broad overstatement and very incorrect generalization. I’m not even gonna go into the culture imbedded racism that is the cause for such sentiment because it doesn’t seem like you want to hear about it.
English

@crimsonolo @pinks4hllnv It’s not a common belief at all moroccans are proudly africans
English

@r0zanovic @pinks4hllnv What I meant by sentiment is that it’s a very common belief
English

@crimsonolo @pinks4hllnv « sentiment? » what does that even mean and are u Moroccan ?
English

@r0zanovic @pinks4hllnv I’ve heard of it, not only in real life but also online. It’s alright if you don’t believe in it cause I don’t either and I’ve met so many Moroccans proud to be Africans but still so much less than the ones that claim they’re superior to and not part of “Africans”
English

@pinks4hllnv @crimsonolo deadass i am sick of this cause ive never heard of it they made it up and believed it
English

@pinks4hllnv @r0zanovic Not North Africans, just Moroccans. And trust me it’s very widespread
English

@r0zanovic @crimsonolo Idk what’s with south africans and their “north africans say they’re not afticans” propaganda cause ive never met anyone irl that says this
English

@crimsonolo @pinks4hllnv ?? I have never seen a moroccan who says they’re not africans what u on about
