Software development is evolving at a breathtaking pace. But my goal remains the same: helping teams improve the performance of their products, enhance user experience… and ultimately drive better conversion. To achieve this, staying up to date is not optional: new metrics, new debugging tools, new development workflows, new models and AI agents. That’s why I’m starting to read “Web Performance Engineering in the Age of AI” by @addyosmani, a key reference when it comes to Web Performance and Artificial Intelligence. Here’s the paradox we’re already seeing: models are generating functional solutions faster than ever… but not necessarily optimized for performance. And that’s where we continue to add value: analyzing, optimizing, and taking products from “it works” to “it’s excellent”, and helping define development workflows so agents generate code following optimal patterns from the start and achieve the performance we’re aiming for. I’ll be sharing a more detailed review in the coming days, but all signs point to this being a must-read. #WebPerf #Performance #AI
