McDonalds La’ie Men’s Restroom:
Hate to say it but 9/10 on this one. Best McDonalds restroom I’ve ever used, plus baby changing station in the men’s room (RARE) so points for diversity. Somehow crossed the identity of Hawaii with McDonalds WITHOUT feeling “touristy?”
Lanikai Beach Men’s Public Bathroom:
Wowie this was an interesting one. A particularly windy night + ankle high vents = a remarkably pleasant updraft around the ankles. A pretty clean beach bathroom all in all. 6/10
be purely decoration, the temperature of which would’ve made even Kelvin shudder in fear. Truly the Alaska of the hand-washing world. The soap dispenser was cute and homely, overall not a bad experience.
Delta Boeing 767-300, Center restroom:
I’d say a solid 6/10. People dog on airplane bathrooms, but I find if you get the timing right they’re actually one of the most comfortably isolating experiences you’ll ever get. Unfortunately the hot water part of the sink appeared to (1/2)
Automatic flush, but a little bit of a hasty response, I had to sit close lest risk a misfire. Sinks were classy, if not a little redundant. Out of paper towels but it’s an airport. Soap was surprisingly lather-ful. Don’t expect to make friends. (2/2)
SLC INTL Airport, Men’s restroom between gates A27 and A26:
A solid 8 out of 10 experience. Lots of space, was able to hang both of my bags (heavy) comfortably, creating a sort of “hanging gardens of babylon” situation, which was truly a sight to behold. (1/2)
