@BobWP Threads are one reason why I try to move as much project planning away from WhatsApp & Co to @Mattermost. Having proper conversations ordered in channels and threads not only helps me to better focus but makes it easier for everyone to have multiple conversations at once

I wish on Slack channels more people would have conversations done in threads vs. filling the whole channel up.

For me these parallel worlds are overwhelming. I feel the whole time as I am missing something which is frustrating as I am an optimizer and it frustrates me to be unable to get both (talks and networking).

This sentiment is both completely understandable and also scary for the future of #WordCamp events. How do we make sponsoring more valuable before all sponsors decide they’re better off just attending? #WCEU

Right now the badges are pretty standardized and people could bring their own company lanyards anyway which would defeat the purpose maybe. I guess we need to find a great way to show visibly who is sponsoring.

@crixu44 @verygoodplugins @marcusdburnette @ianmisner @jamesckemp @courtneyr_dev @MaddyOsman I like that. Currently, the non-booth options don't provide much exposure and there are easy wins like making the lanyards more branded to their company like someone else suggested.
