@mfmereu I agree. Our region has the talent, infrastructure, and know-how to run grassroots events already. I’ve spoken with student councils about plugging esports into existing frameworks. But without institutional buy-in, and alignment, we’re still a few years out here.

esports need more LAN's in 2026. Every game. We need more grass roots events, High School events, Collegiate events and Pro events. We should be tying into larger existing audiences like HS/Collegiate student bodies and localized fan bases. If you want someone to understand the value of esports take them to a live event.
