@ChickenKingMMA Yeah I agree. They need to make a thing for sure. Connor‘s fight was barely even a fight and to give Max a technical win is bullshit and even if he wanna admit it he believes it.
I have solved American soccer. It took me one cup of coffee and Apple’s balance sheet.
Here is the plan.
Apple has more cash lying around than most countries have economy. So Tim, buddy, call me. We are going shopping.
We buy the twelve best players on the planet. Not draft. Not develop. Buy. Apple pays every transfer fee in full, in cash, the way I buy a coffee. The selling clubs will faint, then cash the check.
Then we bring them to MLS. We match every salary to the euro, hand each man a signing bonus large enough to see from space, and here is the closer. We make them American citizens.
Think about what that does. No more European tax rates eating 45 to 55 percent. Come to Texas or Florida, gentlemen. No state income tax. You will take home more money playing in Austin than you ever did in Madrid, and you can buy a ranch.
The starting shopping list:
Mbappé. Haaland, obviously, my Norse god comes first in my heart. Lamine Yamal, the teenager who is already better than everyone. Dembélé, the reigning Ballon d’Or. Bellingham. Vinícius. Kane, so somebody finally scores. Rodri and Pedri to run the midfield. Salah. Courtois in goal. And De Bruyne, because you always want a maestro.
That is not a team. That is a war crime with cleats.
Yes, this obliterates every MLS salary rule ever written. We will simply delete them. Very American. When the rulebook is in the way, you do not read it, you buy the league.
And just like that, the US men’s national team does not suck anymore. They are terrifying. We host in 2026, we stack citizenship, and by 2030 in Morocco we are not hoping to advance. We are the favorite everyone hates.
This is how we do everything else. See a problem, throw an unreasonable amount of money at it, add a tax haven, and win. It is not cheating. It is capitalism with a corner kick.
Tim, my line is open. Bring the checkbook and the good pen.
@FuciMiNaKule@cro504@KitzlerZak@simonesz To add onto this, this is actually the reason women's teams deliberately seek to train against academy teams. It's to toughen up the women.
An U15 boys team will dominate them physically so it's for training
@NetScrape_Ltd@MrShikaki33959@KitzlerZak@simonesz That might be true if the first world cup had men and women on the same team, but its always been split with a men's and a women's division.
They had to make seperate rules to let boys play girls to make the boys look good at soccer.
@cro504@NetScrape_Ltd@KitzlerZak@simonesz I would suggest you re-read the tweet you first responded to.
Couple of times if needed, no rush.
I will even put a screenshot of it here for you so you can find it.
If you try really hard you might realize why women winning against other women was completely irrelevant.
@cro504@MrShikaki33959@KitzlerZak@simonesz They have 0 world cups. They have never, nor will they ever, compete in a world cup. They had to make a separate division for women because they suck at soccer
