The kindness of strangers. I was contacted this week by St Gemma’s Hospice that someone was trying to contact me with a gift for Jacob
Today I found out it’s the executer of a gentleman’s will who was a pilot. They’ve left Jacob enough money specifically for him to learn to fly😢
@northyorksc As for putting a notice on a gate at Wetherby Road site which you enter through is stupid it should attached to the fence for all to see. I only found out about the change is because i speek to the extremely helpful staff at Wetherby Road who mentioned it to me on Saturday.

@northyorksc A bit late posting this. Where have all the comms been? Surely this should have been well advertised before now. You sent out council tax sureky you could have put a flyer in the envelope. The every property would have been notified.
@northyorksc Hi @northyorksc where has the publicity been to let your residents know that from Monday 27th April that you have to have your vehicle registered to be able to use the recycling centres. Also the changes as to what is classed as a comnercial vehicle?
Our Household Waste Recycling Centres are open until 5pm today.
Please allow enough time to unload your waste before closing.

Research suggests that the length of time people wait to upgrade their mobile is growing (average 3.5 years). So we want to know when was the last time you upgraded yours? 📱
What did you have, what did you change to, and have you noticed a big difference between the handsets?
@crobinson007 Hello! Our property team says the clock pours for around one minute every quarter of an hour (probably not dissimilar to the train frequency). It is actually still the old clock, which has had a glow-up - so it's looking particularly eye-catching at the moment!
@YorkshireTea like the new clock above the loading bay (can see it from my home). This morning i've seen it tipping as though it is pouring the tea out. I know the original one was originally timed to tip as the trains went passed. What is the frequency now?
@TeamServic80428 The issue is that my orders are not being sent to store. You advertise order and collect in an hour. It is now 4 days since i did the order and still no confurmation that i can collect. My other issue is you cannot speak to anyone in your customer serviced
@PetsatHome i ordered a click & collect food order store on 2 Dec. Email advising ETA today. At lunchtime spoke to the store who confirmed items in stock. Order still processing. Contacted customer services who reordered. NO CONFIRMATION TO COLLECT!!!!!!!! What a shambles

@KirstieMAllsopp I wonder what percentage of those who end up paying are single childless people who own their own home are discriminated against when it comes to IHT?
If Rachel Reeves thinks someone with a house worth £600K is “wealthy” they why doesn’t she have the guts to lower the inheritance tax threshold? At present only 4% of Estates pay IHT.

@northyorksc yet again no bin collection despite text message saying days haven't altered despite the bank holiday. With missed collections why send a text apologising for the missed collection and advise what to do. It will stop a lot of unnecessary calls to customer services.
@MoneySavingExp If I've been in a supermarket where I don't have a loyalty card there I will ask the customers behind me if they have one a scan it on my purchase.
@MartinSLewis Borrowed off my mum to have new windows fitted. Made her open an account in both our names so that I could put money into pay her back. Paid full amount back and gave her the interest as well. She then gave me the interest back.
TELL US: Have u ever loaned money to family/close friends or had a loan from em? Was interest charged? Was it formal or informal? Agree a repayment schedule? Would u do it again? Did it impact ur relationship?
Pls reply & like ur faves. M'producer'll pick some for the pod
@KirstieMAllsopp I'm in the process of moving and have been advised by my estate agent that on average searches are taking 8 weeks alone. Why do we have such a long lead time to get this information? My brother bought in Australia and from the offer being accepted to completion it took 4 weeks.
Our house buying system is broken, we need a Government who cares about this and is prepared to do something about it NOW. It can be fixed relatively easily IF the government roughs up the lawyers & mortgage lenders.
