@QuackstarP @crodsnare @HQNewsNow The standard continental infantry uniform was a blue coat with red facings, so using this convention the musicians’ uniform would be a red coat with blue facings as you see here. This is historically accurate.

There are currently Redcoats on the White House lawn to welcome the King of England

@HQNewsNow They are U.S. Army soldiers from The Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps. They wear red instead of blue (the reverse colors) to be easily identified on the battlefield. It is a historical uniform to preserve the traditions of the Continental Army. Source: I am one of them
