Edinburgh is full of stories - but some of the most beautiful ones above your head. Next time you're wandering through historic halls, bars or museums, take a minute to look up and take it all in. You never know what you might be missing.

Rab and I became friends when I opened our shop in Kirkcaldy in 1970. We often sat up, playing records, into the wee small hours at his home in Strathmiglo. His knowledge of popular music was amazing. Much missed.
