@barracuda147 Derek, parts of the viewpoint trail are impassable with briars. I agree preferred the old Drumkeeragh.

A few more from this morning's walk in Drumkeeragh Forest. With the heat haze eliminating any chance of Mourne Mountain views, we had to make do with Croob and the surrounding countryside. Who needs Mourne views anyway? #countydown #DromaraHills

@NigelMcKinney @deptinfra Seen a contractor hanging off a quad at 6.30am a number of weeks ago. No PPE , carrying out an overall spray of verges.

Apparently the weedkiller applied by @deptinfra across South Down was an error. If so - a huge error resulting in hundreds of miles of verge being sprayed with hundreds of litres of herbicide over many days. I find it hard to believe - and we need to know the truth #biodiversity
