Hinao won 2 Premiers and got 2nd in another in a span of 8 months. He would've been basically qualified once he got to grand finals here, but him winning it is good news for other players in the points race.

3 years ago DarkAngel became the best KOF player in the west. He beat ET, won majors in Mexico and countless online tournaments, but most never got to see it because he was denied entry to the US over and over.

I say "most never got to see it" in the context of winning EVO/SWC (basically breaking outside the SNK bubble), but it can't be understated how important TNS was to supporting these players.

Tyler1 actually hasn't stopped grinding sf6 since evo. He beat everyone's ass in Ludwig's streamer tournament yesterday, now he's introducing fgc locals to his audience by streaming his bracket, money matching people, etc.

CotW is generally a very stable game, which goes to show just how stacked this group was. Basically Xiaohai and Dany's worst result so far.
Before today XH had an almost 90% WR at EWC (SF6 + CotW), and Dany was on a streak of top 8 or better placings in majors since July 2025

@crossknockout I don't really get those "pools". they are not very informative in telling u who will face who, they are basically a top 8 qualifier. Looks like a pretty lazy work from their part tbh.. should have split every one of those pools into 3 more
