General Secretary @CatholicPrimary Seamus Mulconry has said that primary schools need more supports in Budget 2025, as they are currently running on fumes, meaning every school has no choice but to fundraise.

Seven out of ten primary schools have run at a deficit at some stage over the past 12 months and had to rely on cash reserves to cover day-to-day costs due to insufficient core funding from the State, according to a survey rte.ie/news/2024/0604…
