PerspectivAI is open to all! Check it out and let me know what you think! Give it a topic and it’ll give you mainstream vs alternate views. Challenge yourself and give it topics and viewpoints you take for granted - you’ll be surprised how many different views there are!

@crostipunctus Awesome! Not sure if there’s one where you live, but there are places where you can go dig for them, too. There’s a cool geode bed near SLC that we nearly went to while visiting a year or so ago, just came to mind when I read this.

People be like, "Wait, you’re not sending your kid to school?!" as if the burden is on me to explain why I don't want my entire heart and soul (and the most precious and incredible creature) imprisoned in a room for 6 hours a day needing permission to take a piss, being forced to learn useless and deathly boring things, being part of discount hunger games for 18 years of his life.

Well since it stems from a particular attitude toward Jews (no other country is treated this way) it's very complex indeed! This attitude is very ancient and mysterious - it's not antisemitism which is more straightforward. @DavidDeutschOxf calls it The Pattern: a set of ideas and behaviours which legitimise the hurting of Jews for the sole reason that they are Jews. Here's a good video: youtu.be/VJENZ4zVGHo?si…

It's worse though isn't it? As they get older the more they need to be moulded and controlled and supervised. So it's not that people spend less time with them; it's that it's less time that the child enjoys and more time of good-for-them things. Luckily, sometimes there's an overlap.

Privatize garbage collection and processing with no government interference. Once that is in place people who dump garbage won't dump garbage because either they will have the proper infrastructure to dispose of it, or sell it to a company (garbage is very valuable). Then government should do what it's meant to do: fine (or jail) for littering or dumping. Part two without part one in this country is useless and we all know part one cannot be done by the government.
Anuradha Tiwari@talk2anuradha

Let’s talk about solutions. How can we solve the garbage crisis in this country?

Dear @letsblinkit, your Ambulance service is a lifesaver indeed. Jist this morning, a classmate of mine requested for an ambulance in Gurugram. It arrived in 4 minutes and his mom was in the emergencybward of a hospital within 20 minutes. Both the paramedic attendants and the driver were topnotch and took excellent care of the patient. After the formalities in the ER were done and the patient stabilized, her son went out to thank the ambulance guys, only to find out that they had already gone. Two minutes later he got the scolding of his life from his wife for not giving them any token of thanks, especially since the ambulance service didn't charge anything. He had no idea and had just assumed that the charges would have been paid when his wife had booked the ambulance! On that note, you may consider adding an option on your app for a token payment and perhaps a rating system for your ambulance crews after the job is completed. They are a lifesaver indeed.

Karl Popper was by far the greatest philosopher of the twentieth century and a very moral man. But even he was tainted by the Pattern. The philosopher Joseph Agassi, in his book A Philosopher's Apprentice, described how he tried with very limited success to dissuade the atheist Popper from his strangely uncritical acceptance of supersessionist theology: "In addition to the vulgarity of Popper’s effort to appear Christian in some sense, it made him endorse a kind of anti-Judaism peculiar to Vienna of his early days […] The matter of attitudes to religion was one of the earliest topics of debate that I regularly tried to engage [him] with, once we got close enough to have debates in private […but he] only agreed to omit the most offensive anti-Jewish expressions from later editions of the book."

@RujutaDiwekar You insult their agency, trivialize their choices and trample on their efforts and what's worse you really think you're speaking up for them! Well done. @retard

It’s one thing for items to be delivered in 10 mins but for young women to be delivered within 10 mins to clean up your mess at 99/- per hour is cringe & exploitative. How do investors back these kind of business models? Poverty for profit.

Yo @TennisTV your android app sucks - eats up battery, heats up phone, sometimes I have to keep tapping the phone so the screen doesn't go off while watching a game. Fix it!
