SPOILERY I think there’s a 60/40 chance that Megas could continue in Gen10. -A pocket for Mega stones was discovered in the beta builds of Gen10👀 -If Gen10’s gimmick doesn’t have forms(I’ll do a post on this later),I think Megas could fill that role. This would be just like how Alola had Z-Moves + Megas… Except maybe now we’d get a few new Megas too! -They introduced so many new Megas in ZA.I don’t think they would make all those new designs just for a few months of usage- especially the DLC Megas. They’d want to milk all these new Megas (and they have barely started milking them btw). And they haven’t even been available in the classic turn-based Pokemon style. -They will be in Champions, but I think they would want to cross promote Champions with Gen10. Megas and Tera will be the focus in Champs for all of 2026 and maybe into 2027, which are Gen10’s main years. -We know from very credible sources that there were more planned Megas for the ZA DLC. So while it possible that they were cut entirely, it’s also possible that IF Megas are in Gen10, these planned Megas could have been pushed back to be released in the Gen10 games, or even released in Champs and then can be brought over to Gen10 with all the other Megas. -There are 93 Megas in total rn. GF doesn’t usually care too much about this but it makes sense to me that they could want to bring that to a clean 100 Megas. Ultimately I don’t think Megas would be the main gimmick but just a bonus. Maybe just 7 new ones (similar to how there were only 2 region forms and 3 convergent species in SV) and then all the old Megas too! I could be totally wrong but I’d say there’s a good chance in Alola 2.0.

You already know what I’m gonna say right? I’ve read all the replies too... We ZA truthers probably make up 5% of the Pokémon community… & I might be the only person that thinks Mega Gatr clears them all🫢 But it’s a close call,cause I like regional forms more as a mechanic
