Why didn’t Rhaenyra have Rhaena claim Vermithor or Silverwing? She was 100% loyal and the only fighting age Targaryen who wasn’t bonded to a dragon. Ulf didn’t even try to tame her and she folded, so why not Rhaena?

@Teslimatttt The books were too detailed to cover everything, a lot was left out including diving deeper into the dragons’ actual temperaments. In the books Drogon is still the main focus but they touch more on Rhaegal and Versyrion’s temperaments even from birth

I hate how drogon was the only real dragon with any personality both rhaegal and viserion were just cgi backdrops and not to mention the muted colors

@Itz_zayyad1 Otto Hightower actively planned to usurp the throne even while Viserys was alive. Viserys named Rhaenyra heir and the realm swore fealty. He groomed her for throne, being cup-bearer in small council and so on and even after Aegon was born. What more was expected from Viserys?

Maturing is realizing that Rhaenyra is the cause of the dance of the dragons. If she had just given up the thrown to Aegon because according to traditions, a son should inherit the thrown not a daughter, all the deaths and destruction wouldn't have happened.
