@EkbladCrave and i don’t blame her. where i rode in middle school and high school, the owner had an ottb so was so fucked from being a race horse that she took years to handle and even then only her owner can truly interact with her

@cruelonly Nice Nature's owner was literally so traumatized after watching how horribly both active and retired racehorses get treated she swore off racing forever once the ranch had enough savings lol.

@cruelonly Its also hilarious they made this into a Thing, Japan issue too, I'm sorry but just because fans are more into the horses than gambling doesnt mean the welfare is much better and owners arent as greedy, the proof is literally everywhere too

@EkbladCrave also people expecting a win every time. almost every single race horse who is in the history books has lost at least once. she’s not a bust for getting 14/15 and even if she’s not meant for racing she may make a beautiful show horse or even just someone’s pet.
