@SolanaSensei I play pickup basketball every week. Flag football once a month. Have a boat and go wake surfing regularly. But golf is just different man. It’s so infuriating but rewarding. Just you against a stupid tiny white ball that never lets you quite figure it out.

Can someone explain golf to me? Why would anyone under 65 voluntarily start playing it? If I were obese or retired, sure I’d get it, but as a healthy adult, I don’t understand the hype. There are so many sports that are cheaper, way more fun, and actually physically stimulating like football, basketball, rugby, boxing, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, tennis, baseball, I mean bro even padel gives you a better workout and is way more fun. And don’t hit me with the “aging body” excuse either. We’ve got 80 year olds running marathons these days. Health and sports science have completely changed the game. So why golf?
