Three things I am tracking on this account. Followers, yes, but only because attention compounds. Reply quality, because that is where the real conversations and the real DMs come from. Link clicks, because at the end of the day attention you cannot route to something useful is just noise. If the followers are growing but those other two are flat, the growth is a lie.

Soft life is a Nigerian invention. We just had to suffer first to appreciate it.

Crypto is the only industry where being early is rewarded more than being right. The smartest analyst in 2018 who waited for the perfect entry got dusted by the random guy who aped without reading the docs. This is not advice to be reckless. It is advice to stop waiting for perfect information that never comes. You learn the rules by playing the game.

Nobody who is actually busy has time to call you lazy. Take note.

At this rate of new mints, I think NFTs are due for a retracement. There simply isn’t enough liquidity to sustain all these drops, and I’m already seeing terrible “marketing” and new WL farmers and “communities” 😭 popping up. We don’t need that. This isn’t memecoins. NFTs need curation, and a real collectors curation takes time. Slow is good.

The most expensive thing in Lagos is not rent. It is the friend group that keeps pulling you back into average thinking. The boys who laugh at your goals. The girls who make you feel weird for being focused. The cousin who keeps asking what you are working on so they can borrow money later. Protect your circle like it is the only asset you own. Because at some point in your twenties, it is.
