@MarioNawfal Progressivism is a word used to obscure and confuse people into thinking things are getting better when, in fact, things are getting much, much worse.

@TXNationalist14 @CAALLDAY23 @tedcruz Some people choose to be homeless. Literally… if faced with holding a job and sustaining a household… they choose the streets. There will always be homeless people. Always.

@HillGirlTN @anyonewantchips I don’t care what you call it, you’re playing semantics. My point was President should be elected directly by people. No need for electors. A relic of landed owners of slaves.

Hillary Clinton beat Trump by 2.8M votes, but because of the electoral college Trump won. Abolish the damn electoral college - because the person with the most votes should win.

@SenatorDurbin Biden got 11 million more votes than Clinton in 2016… yeah. Right. Biden lost 18 of 19 bellwether counties… yeah. Right. Biden’s votes suddenly hit a massive middle of the night boost while Trump’s trajectory did not deviate. Yeah… right.

If President Trump cannot admit he lost in 2020, how can we expect him to honor the results of the upcoming midterm elections? His refusal to accept basic reality endangers our democracy.

We are seriously on track to see the world’s first trillionaire before every human being has access to clean drinking water. Think about how insane that is.🤯 There is enough wealth on this planet to make sure nobody dies from thirst, starvation, exposure, or lack of healthcare, but instead we glorify extreme wealth accumulation while basic human needs go unmet. A system should be judged by how it treats the most vulnerable, not by how many billionaires it creates! Unbelievable.

@newms69 @djg_media @SenSanders The hoax is that taxation and ceding more authority to governments will change it one iota. Seas have risen 400 feet in the last 20k years. 399 of that before industry began. Stop looking through a keyhole.

@SenSanders Sea levels measured at the lower Manhattan Battery since the 1850’s show a straight line of rise. 20,000 years ago sea levels were 400 feet LOWER than today. Industry has .00000001 to do with it. 399 feet happened before the Industrial Revolution. 1 foot since. 399>1

@ShockedNotShock @2dinbits @WatchingBs @saylordocs The Medicare charge for retirees is means tested already. Mine went up about 500 bucks a month because I sold some investments. But you are right. It is unsustainable if kept as is. Nevermind any added pressure as AI displaces more jobs.

Murray: Is it true that people making under $184,000 pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate? Dahl: Yes Murray: And the rate for someone making $1,000,000? Dahl: 2.2% Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184,000, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.

@PramilaJayapal Like Elon Musk, I ALSO do not pay taxes on unrealized gains. Your 3.27% is based on his net worth. You are in Congress. You should know better than to think for even a second that taxes are levied on net worth. If that’s the case… I paid 2.2% in 2025. You’re just lying.

@WatchingBs @saylordocs Technically true, because those who are self-employed pay the full 12.4% themselves. The employer paying half is considered a benefit to the employee.

Just Watching the BS@WatchingBs·
@saylordocs This is flat out not true. The portion the employee pays is capped, but the employer pays 6.2% on behalf of the employee at no cap. So someone who makes 10 million a year has $620,000 paid into the system as a direct payroll cost. They will not receive any extra SS benefits

No it is not true Everyone pays the same 12.4% on their first $184,000 of income If you make Billionaires pay 12.4% on ALL of their income then you will have to pay them hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars per year when they reach the age of 62 The pyramid scheme can’t handle that

@saylordocs That is a mis-characterization. There has always been a cap on SS tax. Always. There is no cap on Medicare tax. When the billionaire retires he will draw about 3500/month like everyone else. Would it be fair for the billionaire to put in 75k per month then draw 3.5k?
