@to_the_m0o0n @decredproject We initially disabled it due to long trade times and the app needing to be in the foreground for the duration of the trade, but doesn’t look like trade times take as long anymore, plus we could also show a warning to users so they are aware it would take sometime

🚀 Exciting Update! We successfully completed two DCRDEX mainnet trades on the Cryptopower Desktop Wallet yesterday with the DCR/BTC pair, selling 1 lot of DCR for BTC! While the DEX mainnet isn't available in the current Cryptopower releases, it will be coming soon after further extensive testing. Actually! Crypto Power is a great example of how a wallet provider can implement an open source P2P exchange directly into their wallet. @cryptopowerWlt uses DCRDEX, which is the same open source P2P exchange software used and built by the @BisonWallet team. These guys have taken this concept and are building solutions to help people use their crypto. Think a little outside the box! Image you're @Digibyte, @firoorg, @zcash, @Dashpay or pretty much every coin that has scripting. Why not implement DCRDEX directly into your own wallet software? It's free, it's open sources, it's solid , and it's only going to get better. Once Mesh Network is built all of these wallets and communities will be connected, with the same pairs and the same order books. Let me put it another way. In the very near future crypto wallets that don't have access to a P2P trading solution will be pretty much obsolete. If you're in any doubt about how this works, the following video will demonstrate what's possible.
