Your brain thinks gambling is normal because it's gotten used to constant euphoria. You see pnl swings equal to the amount people see in their entire lives. You hunt for 10x or 50x trades, and anything below that appears unappealing. Your job is to make trading boring. The long/short button should not feel like a slot machine. Spend a few weeks developing a system while aiming for reasonable 2-5r returns. This approach will give you a real chance of turning this into an actual career.
