have you been having a hard time trading over the past month, even though the market has been "hot"? I'm going to tell you about what I've dealt with over the past month, and hopefully this helps someone out I've been trading for 4 years, never had any prior trading experience to crypto, and I've been full time trading since 2021 during this time, I've had steaks where I've done incredible well and I've had streaks where I'm legit trash I've watched some of the best traders I know go through the same exact thing back in September and October, I legit could not lose a trade between the pumpfun streamer meta, and then BNB was one of the best months I've had trading since AI days in November of 2024 but over the past month there were a few trades like GAS and RALPH (and some others) that really pissed me off and it threw me off of my groove, and I ended up having one of the worst months trading in a while because my confidence took a hit then I ended up taking bad trades, borrowing conviction when I know that I should trust myself over everyone else, and not staying in winners long enough so here are my last few points: 1) tune out all the PNLs you see on X, it'll just make you feel shitty (comparison thief of joy) 2) go find the best wallets of people who aren't trenching $10K marketcap coins looking for exit liq, and start learning from the best onchain traders who know how to spot and hold actual good coins 3) know that you're going to go through good times and bad times, everyone wins and loses. it's not about winning every trade, rather being able to make money over years of trading 4) don't wait for "calls", look for confluence between GOOD traders and build your own thesis 5) if you only rely on other people to tell you what to do and what to think, you're going to set yourself back because you are dependent on others. the skill gap in trading is huge, and if you're able to move yourself into the higher skill tiers then you will be able to feed yourself you're already here in the best casino in the world if you can find your edge, you'll end up changing your life and if you can't find your edge, go find traders who can help you build your edge so you can improve
