We’ve come a long way since 2022 when I was literally the only person talking (and shilling you mercilessly) about Blocksquare eh? 3 years on from that and they are still churning out innovations like the world first notarization of a tokenized property in the EU which is the backbone of a new level of legal protection to token holders that will become apparent this year. $POINT is going to be another one of those game changing innovations. Blocksquare don’t hype their achievements though, instead building towards a long term vision. When that’s complete… a lot of people are going to regret sleeping on $BST!

For those who've followed me for a while, you'll know I've been highly bullish on @blocksquare_io for the past few years years. Founded in 2018, Blocksquare has been dedicated to the tokenization of real estate. Making them one of the pioneers in the the RWA space. Their approach to tokenization stands out from many others. Rather than focusing on tokenizing property title ownership, they focus on the economic rights of a property. This approach offers significant advantages. It aligns with existing legal frameworks and avoids the need for extensive regulatory changes in property ownership laws Beyond their tokenization platform, Blocksquare has also introduced Oceanpoint. This is a DAO designed to serve as a liquidity engine for tokenized real estate. One key milestone for 2025 is the launch of $POINT. $POINT plays a critical role, enabling liquidity pools for property tokens Allowing investors to instantly trade tokenized real estate through AMMs like Uniswap. This development is a major leap for the RWA sector, paving the way for further innovation in the space. What excites me most about Blocksquare and Oceanpoint is their vision for Oceanpoint to acquire property tokens. And evolve into what could be the first truly decentralized Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). This would unlock tremendous utility for $BST holders Granting them access to revenue shares from a globally diversified portfolio of tokenized properties. As one of the longest-standing RWA projects, Blocksquare boasts an end-to-end platform and has already tokenized over $130 million worth of real estate worldwide. Shout out to @cryptovium who inspired this post and introduced me not only to Blocksquare. But also to RWA tokenization before it was talked about in crypto. I highly recommending checking out this project.

With a stronger legal framework, Blocksquare Luxembourg will help streamline property tokenization by facilitating the issuance of Blocksquare Property Tokens (BSPTs) and pave the way for listing more properties. 2. Enhancing BST development (Q1–Q4 2025) $BST lies at the heart of Blocksquare’s ecosystem. Throughout 2025 we will be focussing on growing its value and utility by seeking new exchange listings to increase liquidity and visibility, as well as forging partnerships that bring new users and use cases into the ecosystem. 3. Marketplace v2 (February 2025) A major highlight of early 2025 is the launch of Marketplace v2: a reimagined platform designed for seamless real estate investing that delivers a sleek, intuitive interface and enhanced functionality. Whether you're buying, selling or managing tokenized real estate, Marketplace v2 is expected to become an essential tool for everyday use. 4. Oceanpoint v2 (March 2025) Oceanpoint, Blocksquare’s decentralized application, plays a vital role in offering liquidity solutions for tokenized real estate. With v2 the platform will deliver a world-class Web3 user experience while consolidating its tech stack for better scalability. Oceanpoint’s evolution is aimed at making interactions simpler, faster and more enjoyable for all users, potentially attracting a larger audience to the ecosystem. 5. New Blocksquare website (Q1 2025) First impressions matter. That’s why we are investing in a complete website overhaul. This refreshed digital presence will better communicate Blocksquare’s mission, products and value proposition, ensuring that visitors have a clear understanding of what the platform offers. The website’s launch will serve as a crucial tool in onboarding new users and building a stronger community. 6. POINT token: unlocking liquidity (Q2 2025) The launch of the $POINT token in Q2 is another ambitious milestone. As long time followers will know, I've been incredibly bullish on @blocksquare_io / $BST for a long time. Started in 2018, Blocksquare have focussed on the tokenization of real estate since day one making them one of the early movers in what we now call #RWA. Their tokenization model is different to many, focussing on tokenizing the economic rights of a property rather than the title ownership. This focus has a number of benefits, namely that it fits within existing legal frameworks and doesn't require changes to the underlying regulatory frameworks surrounding property ownership - something that could take decades to see. Alongside their tokenization protocol/platform offering, Blocksquare have also created Oceanpoint. Oceanpoint is a DAO created to act as a liquidity engine for tokenized property and the 2025 roadmap has the delivery of a key part of this in Q1: $POINT. POINT is a new token which will, amongst other things, provide liquidity pools for tokenized property tokens and give investors the ability to instantly buy/sell property tokens via automated market maker (AMM) protocols such as Uniswap. This is a vital step in the maturing of the #RWA space and will help drive further innovation in the space. It's also another step to what has had me excited about Blocksquare and Oceanpoint for so long: the ability for Oceanpoint to start buying up property tokens and creating what could be the first truly decentralized Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). This will be the ultimate utility for BST: giving holders access to a share of the revenues generated from owned properties in a globally distributed portfolio of tokenized properties. Blocksquare are one of the oldest RWA projects out there and have a fully end to end platform, having tokenized in excess of $130m of real estate around the world to date. I can't help but feel that this is just the tip of the iceberg though...

It's a bloodbath out there, this is not the #Altseason2025 we were all hoping for. But... every cloud has a silver lining and there are some absolute bargains out there. $YBR is the lowest it's been since TGE $BST is at the bottom of it's range for the past 15 months $PROPS is at it's second lowest since last March And the list goes on. I just found some $USDT in a wallet and split it between those three. I'm expecting a bounce some time soon! What are you doing right now? Buying or selling?

In their end of year AMA, the #Kadena team talked about a number of potentially interesting developments to be released in 2025. One of these is the addition of 20 Chainweb EVM chains. This brings EVM and Solidity compatibility to Kadena’s scalable architecture. Now you might think, oh great another #L2 player, but you’d be wrong. This is all running on an #L1 blockchain… just with multiple application language support. This is so much better than a bridge and opens up a whole new world of opportunity. Like… why stop with EVM? There are plenty of other options out there and I’d love to see Kadena push things on this front. The @kadena_io team have said they’ll be showcasing DevNet for the above at #ETHDenver in Feb. It’s an interesting move for $KDA, and just one of many talked about in their AMA. 2025 could be an interesting one for Kadena…
