Age of X-Man would've been a perfect time, since Threnody only buried him a few months before that event IRL. Marvel seems to want Nate out of 616, though... so him having wife & kid there is probably a no-go.

@AngelAyeka @DailyMutantsX For some reason it's missing the second half, which is that she can use the energy. She can absorb it to heal herself (if the person is still alive, it'll kill them) & manipulate it to reanimate the dead.
She's unable to control it without the things implanted on her head.

@RedGhost312 @DailyMutantsX Yup. Her and Nate's son was born years ago, but baby died 😢 Implied to have been stillborn, but became undead due to her powers & she didn't want to accept he was gone.
Nate never even found out she was pregnant because she left out of fear of what her powers may do to him, too

@FormallyChuck Both Wolverines had their own self-titled book running concurrently for all of last year. All they did was give one a subtitle and both their own logo style.

@thehorsecharles There are some good folks at Udon who are really passionate and I don't think share his vision! In an ideal world, I'd wish they'd offer their talents to a publisher not led by someone like this... but I know it's not that simple. So I just opted not to support, personally...

@thehorsecharles Director of publishing is one of those "anti-DEI/go woke go broke" types. I even offered a chance to clarify & he doubled down before deleting once more people started noticing.

... and the book is actually pretty good so far, so I will be keeping with it. Title still sucks, and it's annoying that we're seemingly going to rehash this forever, but it does make more sense in context.

I liked it! This is the 2nd writer to show Laura's devotion to Kiden since they met back up as adults. I'm glad it seems to be the status quo moving forward. Let's just hope Kiden eventually joins the cast...

Redoing my personal comics catalogue and decided to pull of From the Ashes' NYX run in an odd moment of remembrance I can't believe it was so obvious that L&K were trying to set up Kiden being in love with Laura but it DIDN'T HAPPEN? I need the story there. Still mad.
