@t4zerr Amazingly enough IG feels soooooo much more toxic for furries in general than even here. So many awful comments from people that hate furries. So it's definitely a thick skin place to put all of your furry content on.

@crystumes I mentioned it in another reply but I’ve noticed there are a lot more younger furs who’ve only ever experienced the fandom on IG- absolutely insane

@CRYPTIDKILL Trello is such a mental lifesaver for me. sure I can have folders of projects on my desktop but having everything all laid out on one page and then moving over little project cards towards completion feels so satisfying and the little brain wins make a difference.

also i cannot comprehend how people dont have public queues...or even things like trellos in general?! id go mental trying to remember everyone and every little detail, i need my beautiful wonderful trello to help me 😭also are u not worried about professionalism?

Its been a wild week for us. Drove to the hospital for a standard OB check up then gave birth 11hrs later. Welcome Amelia Lynn and Cecilia Ann Dobelbower. We are over the moon. Early 34wks but doing great for thier age. In the hospital healing. @DustDutchie is my amazing husband

@sodayeena True nightmare scenario. I'm so scared of the shipping companies at this point. They're all just losing their minds. the last 7 bases I just sent out were scanned wrong and now NONE of them will track because they were scanned as picked up in the town I dropped them off in.

Shoutout to DPD who left my new fursuit with a random person without any identifying information (unintelligible initials and image, no calling card) despite my specific safeplace delivery instructions that I verified with a code 🧡 I leave in 1 day for the holidays 🧡

@ZainHallows as an artist I feel great about trying to create something as unique and badass as a realistic shark! The art I love to make vs the art that sells don't always overlap lol.

@NU_M00N I feel for artists trying to make it with folks just wanting to stick with names they knew that have established over 10 plus years past. I really do. Good art should be recognized for being good art full stop. But there’s so many social medias so many algorithms to get past.

@NU_M00N This is so true. Also. Most artists wish truly that their good art would speak for itself but algorithms these days. I swear it was easier to be noticed in the 2010s. I feel lucky to have started then. And got an audience that knows my maker name to help me stay alive now.

I’m not trying to put OP on blast, just sharing my thoughts on pretty common TikTok fursuit maker discourse. I’d love to hear from commissioners on what you do/don’t look for in custom makers or premades! Outside input would be super interesting.

@OiseauBlizzard Like people will normally be nice to my work but if it’s in the same post as being less than nice to someone else’s hard work and art I don’t like that. Everyone is trying to make their art and little things can bring anyone down you never know how they’re feeling at the time.

The emotional toll hoping the next thing that mentions you is positive and doesn’t cut down your mental health is an immense weight. Over time of living like that it deteriorates your psyche. Wondering if you will be able to handle it when the bad comes. It’s a lot.
