I think a lot of western progressives seem to believe that indigenous practices were more sustainable because of some inherent mystical balance with nature rather than existing as a result of indigenous modes of production

i’ve been weirdly concerned re: the modern post-ai literacy crisis, ever since my professor talked about how younger students don’t read anymore. also witnessing the sheer lack of critical thinking of many people online. it’s single-handedly causing me to read more lmao.
