I dont know if people realise, but in 2025 in total there have been 3 cs2 updates above 2 gigabytes. 1. Animation overhaul 2. Ancient night version 3. Starladder major items Wtf is going on? Why are there even less updates than csgo at its worst time???

@cs2collector Maybe as a crypto guy but so far his words doesnt seem like one of the CS guys. It's the same with his entire group it's all crypto bros. I'm not saying it's 100% a scam, but even if it werent there's no up side to buying fractions for investments.

IDK how true this is but even if they are legit, buying into fractional skins completely misses the point of owning skins; which is the ability to play with it and showing it off in game. At this point there is no upside to being involved with them at all. If you want to invest, it's much better to buy cheap cases or armory (or old) stickers/charms for pure investment which has consistently shown 5x 10x gains compared to 1k+ skins which only goes up 2x and maybe 3x at most in some very rare cases. So do your own research folks.

It's 1 in 400 to unbox a knife. Thats about 1000$ spent on average for every knife (keys only) In todays market you can trade up to pretty much every knife for even less than 500$. And since i don't see covert skins increase to 200$ each, knifes will drop a lot over time.

@shaiuxx Well you know all this is not really as big as a problem as you think. I'm just saying that these numbers are not correct and have not been for a long time. Rare skins get rarer and more expensive over time. There could be 50 titan holos or 100 but there's no way to 100% tell.

@cs2collector but that was the case beforehand already for years, so if your theory is true, the market would've already been insanely inflated. this would only be a drop in the bucket because there aren't millions of new knives xD

I hope most people realise this number is not really that close to reality. Everytime someone does a tradeup the items used and destroyed do not get removed from any of these databases which highly inflates those marketcap-numbers. This has been going on for years.

@StormyLP_CS Well you know i'm not saying both things can't be true. Market is going up which is a good thing for everyone invested 😅 Just clarifying the numbers aren't as correct as people might think

@cs2collector I get the point, but when I look at my inventory value, it is pretty close to pre-update levels, so the number can't be off by that much.
