@realkingdavid91 @Eldor___ @MaxChess_ Well, yeah, but you can’t delete Magnus from history :)
As Magnus said, though: Caruana proved he was his equal in classical.
English

@Eldor___ @cs_uoft_hacker @MaxChess_ He would deadass have won it in 2018 if he wasn't up against Magnus

So far the only person stopping the Great Sindarov Sweep is, curiously enough, Bluebaum.

@xlc9_ @MaxChess_ @chesscom I mean, Fabi is trying his best everyday, isn't he :)
Winning a game is very difficult. Even when Fabi-Nepo wanted anything but a draw in Toronto Round 14, they drew. Because high-level play simply leads to draws.
Winning is really, really hard!
English

@cs_uoft_hacker @MaxChess_ @chesscom Fabiano said that he didn't like the fact that Sindarov won yesterday and he was hoping for him to lose, So I guess he'll play his best today

@Dixit__Nikhil Qh5+ Ke7 Qxe5+ means we have two pawns for the Knight and Black's king is weak.
Is that it, or am I missing a tactic to gain even more material?

@MaxChess_ Extremely sad :(
But he's classy anyway. Honestly, it's the World Championship's loss. It would be greater for having belonged to Fabiano Caruana.

Giri draws Sindarov
Nakamura defeats Bluebaum
Caruana draws Pragg
i.e. all draws except Nakamura 1-0 Bluebaum

@vlad_chess @gutsy_gambit Seems like Ding never said it. Awesome quote nonetheless

Freestyle will be in shambles if the level of argumentation supporting it is at this level.
Peter Heine Nielsen@PHChess
Another great day for "Team Freestyle" at the Candidates. It now seems highly likely that one of the two will win the event and qualify for the World Championship match.
English

@TilavoldiyA @MaxChess_ @chesscom Surely Caruana-Pragg is a draw.
Any idea how's their H2H?
Expect Giri to draw Sindarov (just a hunch)

@reezyeztilt His prep is insane.
It's almost as if he's memorized the first 15 moves of *chess*. That's the impression he gives.
One hour up in each of his last three games
English

@cs_uoft_hacker Anyone else winning this depends on Sindarov collapsing
I just don’t see Sindarov slowing down at all, he’s winning these games with seemingly no effort
English

@gutsy_gambit Just heard it attributed to him on X. Can't find a source.
Well, whoever said it, it's an awesome line
