@kpcflyers10 Could Grant predict the shooting percentage of the team today? Maybe not. But he could have tried an adjustment. Could have urged a faster play. From a fan point of view, he stood there and looked lost. Like he had no answer. Not the first time, sadly, we’ve seen this from him.

Going to wax poetic about Dayton hoops for a minute. Games like today are what make being a fan of this program worth it. The chance to do something great with the eyes of the country on us. A lot of times it’s frustrating but it’s worth it for a chance like they have today.

VCU is very good. Hope they play this well next week. Player characteristics needed for Dayton this offseason, in no particular order: skilled (shooting in particular), basketball IQ, court/game awareness, court vision, discipline. And less showboating mentality would be nice too

@wallyball No really. It was a dead ball. They went to review the clock after. Officials were pathetic all game. Literally took an easy layup away from Dayton for a phantom over and back on SLU (that wasn’t) and then said it was an inadvertent whistle.

@ThePoniExpress Either the clock stopped on the SLU timeout or the clock should have run out before Montgomery was on the floor…it’s a non-issue

I was courtside for this finish. One of the best back and forths to end a tournament game ever. And Dayton should have been given a technical for players storming the court when there was still time on the clock. Incredible.

I have had my eye on this for awhile and still way too early but 6 seed Saint Louis vs 3 seed Michigan State is the thing I want most in the world. Will also take 5 seed Saint Louis vs 4 seed Michigan State. Please basketball gods.

Final: Wisconsin 92, Michigan State 71 Wisconsin logs another HUGE win. They now have victories over Michigan (away), Illinois (away), and Michigan State (home). The Badgers have the ability to beat anybody in the country, on any given night. Will be a huge wild card in March.

I dont want people to stop going to Dayton games. I dont want people to quit supporting the Flyers. I dont want to lose our tremendous community and culture of basketball. I want our administration to treat mens basketball like the "winner take all" business that it is. Period.

Its such a kick in the nuts to hear the UD fight song play through an empty arena after a shit loss, when this team of Dayton Flyers - who are all overpaid for their current value - mostly just got to school this year and mostly wont graduate from our university.
