We again have record enrollment this year, and we’re expected to reach 10,200 students this fall. First time we’ve been over 10,000 students in our 147-year history! 🎉 maryville.edu/mpress/record-…

When I joined @MaryvilleU in 2011, we stood at around 4k students. I never could have predicted the growth and progress we've made as an institution. As of 8/20, we have officially surpassed the 10k student mark.

1.) Ok - @Kaltura data was yesterday. Now, let's look at our @CanvasLMS data @MaryvilleU for the last 12 months (July 23, 2018 - July 23, 2019).

5.) Windows is top OS (52%), iOS (32%), and macOS (11%). There are still people using Windows XP and Vista.

4.) Top browsers: Chrome (40%), Safari (34%), IE (16%), Edge (4%), Firefox (3%). The Firefox number is surprising. That 3% might come solely from me. There does appear to be 1 person using IE 7 (released in 2006). Yikes.

Looking at our @Kaltura data for @MaryvilleU. 91,000+ videos on the server. Last 12 months - 525k+ plays, 10k+ unique viewers, over 5.25 million minutes viewed. Top video has been viewed 2,300 times by 1,200 students.

10.) Total storage on the server is 88 TB.

9.) Our top faculty has added 147 videos YOY. These uploads have been played over 5k times by our students.
