@TheHockeyPaper I understand mistakes happen but surely the 8 secs time check would be relevant if a goal is scored not if saved or a back sticked!

The FIH have said 'the penalty shootout started mistakenly too early (the clock was not yet ready to operate), for which we apologise. The process in place for such situations is that the penalty shootout has to be retaken, which was done.' FIH to thoroughly review process.
