@ShamsCharania The only problem I can see is the amount of depth Miami is giving up here. Losing 4 solid contributors, even for a superstar, can stretch the bench. You need depth in today’s NBA.

BLOCKBUSTER: The Milwaukee Bucks are trading franchise icon Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis to the Miami Heat for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, 3 first-round picks (including No. 13), 1 pick swap and 1 second-rounder, sources tell ESPN.

@ShamsCharania The Celtics leaking this is odd. Brad Stevens likes to work quietly. He’s either trying to appease the fanbase, or send a message to Jaelyn Brown/the league that he is touchable in a trade.

@ShamsCharania The Bucks probably could have gotten more 13 months ago, but they still got a good return. In a world where Mikel Bridges goes for 5 first, Luka and Giannis combined go for 4 plus a swap.

@ShamsCharania This felt like a classic Heat “superstar hype up” cycle again. Shoutout to Pat Riley for growing some balls!

Just in: Minnesota is sending Julius Randle and the No. 28 pick in the NBA Draft to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team trade that sends Nic Claxton to the Chicago Bulls, sources tell ESPN. The Timberwolves will acquire Brooklyn’s No. 33 pick for Randle and No. 28.

It’s already becoming clear the New Face (Wemby) has this in common with the Old Face (LeBron) … no clutch gene. Late missed game-winners, missed crucial free throws, killer turnovers. Disappeared in last night’s second half: 0 blocks, 0 defensive rebounds. 1-9 career late/close

The Boston Celtics would “without a doubt” trade Jaylen Brown to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo, per @KevinOConnor. “The Celtics are making lots of calls and shopping all players except for Jayson Tatum.” (h/t @Savageboston & @Fullcourtpass )

@TheDunkCentral @MontePooleNBCS I think this would weirdly help Brons legacy. I think the Warriors could go star shopping with Butlers contract + now valuable picks. Are the Warriors back?

LeBron James reportedly has ‘curiosity’ about playing for the Warriors, and the possibility of him joining Golden State should not be ignored 😳, per @MontePooleNBCS “I know it seems crazy. But there is at least curiosity on both sides. This wouldn’t even be a conversation five or six years ago, and it might not happen now, but there’s enough there that we shouldn’t ignore the possibility. It’s mostly up to LeBron.” (Via nbcsportsbayarea.com/nba/golden-sta…)

@TheDunkCentral They had a .4% chance to win at halftime! What’s crazy is Brunson proved literally EVERYONE in the media wrong to get to this position.

Everyone is (rightfully) mad about the Keldon Johnson push to erase a 4 point play. The fact is Spurs lose tonight without him. +14, highest on the team. He is still a good player who would be starting for 25 other teams right now.

@KDPomp @937theFan Listening to the radio show you brought up how no team has ever come back from 0-2 in the finals: 2021 Bucks 2016 Cavs 2006 Heat It’s still possible, just very difficult.

@TheDunkCentral I don’t think people understand how incredible the is. It’s been DECADES since a team has won a championship with their core having no experience. MJ lost multiple times before making it. LeBron lost multiple times before making it. Wemby is a generational talent.
