I knew this thread would come in handy. #RevPit hopefuls are discouraged after not being selected. Don’t give up writers. I’m sure the editors would have picked more, but the prize is their free time and we have to respect they’re day job. I for one will be paying for a critique.

The discouragement that can come from not being selected for #Revpit is very real. You may think, “Dang, I thought I had such a strong MS.” You may doubt your ability to catch the eye of an agent when your begin querying. So I was wondering #editors can we make a thread?/

@alina_bacher Questioning yourself happens almost every time you face rejection. But the fact you submitted a COMPLETED manuscript already quantifies your passion.
But this #RevPit was not a rejection, just not chosen. It’s hard, I know. I went Twitter dark and cried. It’s okay. Don’t give up
