perhaps some unintentionally smart worldbuilding because the HP Wizarding population is implied to be very, very small. If anything the Ministry as depicted feels quite out of place, it’s a large and clearly wealthy organization governing a small town’s worth of people

I feel like we've reached the end of WW2 movies. All of the interesting stories have been told. Now we get movies about black women sorting mail in England and the meteorologist that did the weather forecast for D-Day.

Here are three interesting WW2 movies which haven’t been filmed yet.
1) the heroic stand of the Commonwealth troops (including many Canadians) at Hong Kong December 1941 against the Imperial Japanese.
2) the deadly battles between tiny patrols of Americans & German meteorologists in Greenland. On the ice!
3) the Niihau incident, where a crashed Japanese pilot was imprisoned, then escaped, then terrorized a small Hawaiian village till he got beat up by a giant Hawaiian guy AFTER shooting the Hawaiian multiple times.

I’m kind of shock by the number of people who don’t think this movie would be fascinating because it is about the weather for D-Day. Then I remember that average person are not history nerds nor do they realize D-Day was pushed back due to the weather and was at risk to be pushed back a second time.
Thankfully, not because within a week the weather would have been worse than June 6.

POTUS counts as "an official" and this war was predicated on his belief that the regime would fall relatively easily, which is why he brushed off warnings from Caine and others about Iran closing the Strait.

I have seen no American official state that one of the original goals was 'overthrowing the Iranian regime'. If you have, provide a "Ref. A:" with the specific person. What we do have from earlier this month is General Caine's statement that there were three goals. 1. Destroy missiles/drones 2. Destroy navy 3. Destroy military and industrial base
