I’ve launched 2 new course websites for my Introduction to #ComputerVision and #DeepLearning in Computer Vision courses. 🆕 Gaussian Splatting 🆕 Flow Matching 🆕 Sparse Autoencoders 🆕 Lecture Notes (work in progress) The videos don’t include voiceovers, but that’s coming in a future revision 🤞 Share your feedback in the thread.

Got some decent PhD admits (UT Austin, EPFL, MILA, ELLIS etc). Decided academia is not for me. Still lowkey wondering if I made a blunder?

Excited to share that our paper "Affine-Equivariant Kernel Space Encoding for NeRF Editing" has been accepted to ICML 2026! 🎉 We also had a lot of fun designing an interactive poster with foldable 3D models, rotating Gaussian elements, and pull-tabs. #ICML2026 #NeRF

Most inference time scaling approaches are either naive or use fixed recipe for all the prompts. Our #ECCV work combines 3 knobs to get a good generation out fast!! Paper has lots of analysis on issues with current approaches, how to do inference scaling right and also how to pick a good rater for the generations. I had lot of fun working on this with @RawalRuchit and other awesome collaborators.

There is something to this light concept! My last version of it had too much visual noise. Html-in-canvas, Three.js, Fable.

Silico has changed the way I do research for the better. Ideas turn into experiments - which turn into actionable insights - faster than ever. Very excited to get this into peoples hands!!

> replicate J-space on GLM 5.2 > train a reward model and run RL to reduce hallucinations > show me how this model makes cancer predictions Using our platform Silico is like having a team of AI researchers ready to run experiments like these. Private beta is open now. 🧵 (1/6)

I’m a professor at a major US university, running an AI lab for computational imaging. Unwritten rules of PhD admissions, tip: Admissions is (usually) not a vote. You don’t need the whole committee to like you. You need 1 professor to walk in and say “I want this student in my lab.” That outweighs 5 polite approvals. Your application should be optimized for finding that one professor.

I'm gonna regret saying this, but I like this year's NeurIPS decision to make me write initial metareviews. Gives me an early enough assessment and feedback to **both** authors and reviewers. (1/2)

We’re excited to share that Vector is receiving a gift of Claude API credits from @AnthropicAI as part of a wider $10 million CAD commitment to Canadian AI research. Through this donation, Vector researchers will have access to these credits to further advance their work in AI trust and safety, health and science, and tackling the broader challenges that AI is uniquely positioned to help solve for Canadians. This contribution matters. We’re grateful to @AnthropicAI for this generous gift to Vector’s community and towards AI research in Canada. Visiting Google Zurich today. My last visit, in 2018, I attended a public talk on something new called the Transformer. You could say it got everyone’s attention.
