Likely you're referring to a more nuanced view of the effects of slavery present in highschool texts which, while recognizing the overall negative affects of slavery acknowledges that it introduced some African slaves to technological and infrastructure related trades? Guess what, fuck stick, that's accurate. They didn't have technology in central and western Africa. So, yeah, the chances of an African learning masonry, machining, or carpentry without being imported to the US were precisely 0.0%. You morons like to say: Blacks built this country but want to infer they learned these skills from where? Wakanda?
