As a result of the active investigation and proactive police work by our officers, we’re happy to report that yesterday’s stolen vehicle was recovered, returned to its owner, and an unaffiliated suspect was arrested.  Officers located the stolen vehicle and returned it to its owner after discovering its license plate had been swapped. Continued patrol efforts led officers to a suspect who matched the description from the incident. The victim’s backpack, keys, and wallet were recovered, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. This case highlights the value of proactive patrols, investigative follow-up, and community reporting. Help keep our campus safe by reporting suspicious activity 24/7 through 911, 657-278-2515, or the TitanSafety app.
