why don't ios app developers make it so you sign up on the app (30% tax) , then when you get to desktop they give you some promo and take your CC again to switch you over to Stripe rails or something

the least performant app on my Mac is definitely Messages. Seemingly every day it lags when typing and ends up dropping characters once I hit enter, and every couple of days it beachballs and refuses to quit. No other app on my Mac, even Electron apps, does this!
