This was possible because the network already had a sufficient number of active nodes providing the required storage capacity and ensuring stable infrastructure performance from the start. However, as interest in the platform grows and the volume of stored data continues to increase, the overall demand for network resources is gradually rising. Because of this, minor adjustments to storage pricing may occur in the future. Such adjustments may take place if the underlying procurement costs from miners — who provide storage capacity and computing resources to the network — change. CT3 remains committed to maintaining a fair and transparent economic model while ensuring stable access to decentralized storage and the long-term sustainability of the network infrastructure.

CT3 | Migration of Decentralized Cloud Storage Technology to Polygon We at CT3 have completed the migration of our technological infrastructure from Solana to Polygon. This decision was made based on a combination of technical and strategic factors and is aimed at improving the stability, transparency, and overall usability of the CT3 ecosystem. · Network architecture and decentralization · The move to Polygon was driven by the limited adaptability of Solana, as well as certain regulatory and architectural characteristics of the network that, in practice, introduce elements of centralization. Polygon, as an EVM-compatible network, provides a more stable, flexible, and predictable infrastructure. · Optimization of refund mechanics and address generation · On Polygon, the generation of unique addresses does not require an additional network fee, unlike on Solana. This allowed us to optimize refund mechanisms and reduce operational costs within the system. · Integration with NFT marketplaces · EVM-based networks are significantly more mature and optimized for NFT infrastructure. As a result of the migration to Polygon, CT3 NFT keys can now be distributed through external marketplaces, including OpenSea, expanding liquidity and user accessibility. · Transition from cNFT to standard NFTs · Thanks to the consistently low network fees on Polygon, we have moved away from the concept of compressed NFTs (cNFT). Standard ERC-721 NFTs remain cost-efficient while offering better wallet compatibility and simpler, more transparent on-chain collection tracking without additional technical complexity.
