@SweetheartPub I’ve known Nick since he started doing this. They are an amazing band and deserve to have a following outside of St. Louis.

Who's a musician no longer with us that you're thankful you saw live?

40 years ago today, I got in my car and drove to see my first concert alone. It was @deesnider and @TwistedSisterNY. My need to see them won over the anxiety of going to a show alone. That opened the floodgates for teenage me. It changed my life. I’m forever grateful to them.

Met a guy from work for lunch while in the Atlanta area. Went to @TruistPark and ate at one of the restaurants there. It was really good and affordable. Maybe one day I can get back down for a @Braves game. It’s good to be in friendly territory.

Normalize two band bills

@micahtwocow @vandoliers 8pm start. 45 for opener. 15 minute change. 9pm headliner. 90 - 120 minute set. Home by 11 - 1130. Don’t push the set if people aren’t at the venue at set time. Teach them to be prompt.

@JasonHawkHarris I think it’s all arts. There are days when I wish I didn’t pick the camera back up. I know I’m not going to get paid for most of what I do. I’ve literally spent 60+ hours shooting last week, going through the photos, and editing. Then I see someone on 🧵 using AI to edit.

If I could have someone completely pulverize my love for music right now, I'd take it. Having a passion for this shit is a drain on my whole existence. If you're kid comes up to you wanting to do music for a living, save them the trouble and tell them it's a horrible idea.
