@steevo4 @Ausbobsmit Can you expand on “pffff”? Because it looks like you’re waving away wells rorting while getting outraged over scomo doing the same. So which is it, rorting’s fine when it suits you, or are you just picking sides?

@Ausbobsmit Pffff...the liar got his staff to organise a personalised tour of his families historical places in the UK. He went there for god knows what. Went on the tour, then I think it was Wimbledon and a brief appearance at some kind of work thing. All fully supported by the media.

Serial rorter Anika Wells billed taxpayers $100,000 to fly to New York to attend a close friends birthday party. Her excuse for the trip was a short speech, where she stood for 8 minutes and spoke about gender equality. After that, is was on another $3,000 flight to her friends birthday party. This is the same Anika who slugged taxpayer $1,700 for a single meal in Paris. $1000 for food and $700 for grog.

@WhistonChris @Ausbobsmit The fact that you think this is related or even close to the same thing shows you are too stupid to be part of this conversation

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna
She wasn’t in the “wrong place” at the “wrong time”. She was an American college student taking a walk in public with her friends, which every American should be able to do without the fear of being murdered by criminal illegals. Sheridan Gorman was only 18 years old.

@ct_melb @grahmggg @pikey14 Occupancy as in dwellings occupied by any number of people. Down. How does this fit with your reduced supply increased demand narrative? There IS more demand for dwellings by investors, but with such large capital gains due to the tax discount the incentive to lease them is less.

South Australia voter: I voted One Nation because I am sick of the housing prices. They are unaffordable. Now, no disrespect, but I have never heard of One Nations housing policy.

@ricketyclik @grahmggg @pikey14 Prices rose because demand (population, credit, tax settings) outpaced supply. And occupancy falling reflects smaller households, not surplus housing.

@ct_melb @grahmggg @pikey14 If that’s the case why have real prices increased while occupancy rates have decreased since those measures were introduced? Educate me

A baby growing in its mother’s womb? ‘Nah, that’s not a baby.’ A grown man in a dress and heels? ‘That’s a woman, bigot!’ Go fuck yourselves with that delusional horseshit.

@captainjujubean @KateWalther6 @ct_melb @pikey14 Why ask such a stupid question when you know the answer. I don't think the government needs to be told by you that immigration is / isn't sustainable, for some reason I think they've done the proper research on it, you, not so much.

@ricketyclik @grahmggg @pikey14 Without incentives like negative gearing and CGT discounts, fewer private investors would fund new developments reducing supply over time. That means tighter rental markets and higher rents. Moron.

@grahmggg @ct_melb @pikey14 Australian real estate value has been rising steadily as a multiple of average household income since 2000. Why? Probably nothing to do with a new tax setting designed specifically to make investment in property more lucrative, the halving of the CGT rate. How could that be?

@ct_melb @captainjujubean @pikey14 You presented no facts other than supply and demand, which is the whole point of my first post. Build out industry and tradie jobs to cover demand through government initiatives and incentives.

@ChrisM79609682 @captainjujubean @pikey14 Calling them not worthwhile is easier than engaging with the facts, I get it. If the content actually challenged your position, dismissing it without rebuttal just makes that pretty obvious.

@ct_melb @ChrisM79609682 @captainjujubean @pikey14 Which creates more jobs and opportunity as long as you fill demand with supply. Why do conservatives immediately jump to immigration? Without it we can’t staff construction, hospitals, schools. Why not improve supply instead?

Didn't drive her car at an ICE agent. Didn't try to obstruct an ICE operation. Was just walking down the street when an illegal alien killed her in cold blood. And Democrats do not care.
