Just a gentle reminder that if you see a friend struggling, the onus is on you to reach out and ask how they’re doing or if the need help. Not the other way around.
Can you imagine watching a person drowning and saying, “Well, they’re not asking me for help so I’ll just sit and wait until they do so.”
That would be insane behavior and blames the drowning person. The same goes for a friend you see hurting or struggling.
Be a good friend. Don’t be a dick.

Remco can do, say, and write exactly whatever he wants. He is fully entitled to that.
My tweet has only one point: to show the big difference between Pogacar and Remco.
Pogacar would never have written a long post with lots of pictures without mentioning a competitor’s crash that forced him to withdraw.
Several people point out that Remco mentions Jonas in the post-race interview. That’s true. But only after he was asked about it. Before that, he had only talked about himself…

A man recently took me on one of the most unexpected dates I’ve ever been on. The eye doctor. He knows I don’t have health insurance, so he paid for my exam and told me to choose two pairs of glasses. I joke that he just wanted me to stop squinting during theater performances but really it was one of the more thoughtful things a person has done for me here. Feeling grateful

@saddleblaze It isn't that clear-cut; some people fall asleep again very easily, and it's no big deal. People have babies and still function at work. He hasn't come out and said he couldn't get back to sleep, had a poor recovery, etc. We don't know.
