@TinyTrashEaters Make them yours and make them pretty (but cohesive). That's my vote. Channel your graphic designer parent. I always notice when someone has beautiful, clean slides and that sticks with me more than plain, calibri-fonted presentations.

In a previous lab I was taught that slides should always be plain white + black text or vice versa, but as the daughter of a graphic designer I really just want to make my thesis defense slides pretty
