Full house making wedding rings. My neighbours wanted to try their hand at making their own gold wedding rings. I was a bit nervous for them, making a gold ring is not easy and adding to the fact that gold is expensive if it goes wrong, but actually they’ve done an amazing job!

Cleaning up a silver dolphin bracelet that’s tarnished and lost its gold plating on the dolphins for a customer (this is definitely from my era of youth jewellery, I remember everything having dolphins on also because I had loads of things with dolphins on, I was a bit obsessed)

Bit tricky to take a photo of but that’s the engraving on the inside of the ear cuff with a little secret message. As the recipient didn’t want a ring for the proposal so the sender got creative.

I’m pleased with the outcome of this, the customer wanted a solid silver version (the one I made is on the left) of their favourite ring as the silver plating was starting to come off showing copper underneath (the one on the right). I used soft wax to create the shape by hand.
