Our letters may be bleached skeletons, but the Mayan glyphs are factory farmed abominations, fattened on meaning to the point of incapacitation. I believe there is a healthy middle ground

@ctrlcreep you use letters? cute. I only write in Maya glyphs because they still have the meat on

What we call "letters" are the skeletal remnants of more ornate glyphs. They never looked like this! They had blubber and feathers!

At the moment of conception, a wizard zygote wears a tiny black hat. As it develops, stars form on the dark fabric, flooding it blue and gold; and there they wheel, explode, reform, for decades. Until, dying, the hat turns black again

Very sad to see a wizard so close to death. The stars on his hat are blinking out; the last few, red and dim, cast a bloody glow on him

@ctrlcreep I think being able to move your egocenter this way, is a strange kind of freedom even birds don't have.

By human standards, a giraffe is perpetually having an out-of-body experience. Hovering in a high corner of the room, watching itself. Biologically disembodied. They are sure to be gnostics

Young children are perceptual vampires. They must be invited in, or out, to understand that an inside or outside exists. All spaces are total to them; every room a universe

invisible side of the cube A vibes based analysis implies that the shape is a cube, but the line between the points is infinitely long. The cube is a small black cube, 1 inch on each measurable line. While initially presenting as a regular cube, the observer will note that only 5 faces of the cube can be observed. Any attempt to observe the 6th face results in the cube somehow slipping away from one’s grasp, or otherwise one’s vision being occluded or the breakage of any system created to view it. Other senses parse it just fine. Tactile experience of the 6th face result in a temporary sense of infinitely large and infinitely small experience at every nano-textural potential point of the cube. Sensors other than fingers do not work, likely because the output data could be visualized. Based on sound in a container, the cube is a cube. The only inference we can make is that the cube is shy. Collaborative attempts in viewing the cube have resulted in the healing of various psychoanalytic faultlines in the part of the viewers, often resulting in substantial personal healing and growth. Particularly interesting is that pre-communicative children can see the 6th face just fine; some couples exposed their children to it as a toy and later queried on the nature of the 6th face. While memories of the cube seem to fade quickly, memory retention attempts such as sibling exposure and recordings of early age descriptors result in adult descriptions such as ‘the feeling of understanding the idea of time’ and ‘a peaceful morning ray of light echoing in a circle like a fairy that is and isn’t in most places most of the time’ and most interestingly, ‘the feeling of waking up having rewired your brain to accommodate a sense that did not previously exist’, leading most to infer that the cube is somehow tied to a broader limitation on human civilization, and simply shows something we are not yet capable of understanding, to the extent that the timelines in which we view it do not substantially exist. For this purpose, we have rotated the cube.
