Ironically, Netanyahu is one of those mentioned in Psalm 2:1-2 plotting against the LORD and His anointed. And if he doesn’t repent, he will certainly see how “inferior” King Jesus, the Messiah, is to Genghis Khan. Kiss the Son, Benjamin. Lest He be angry with you.

@cuatronelson @JW_Lumley I believe I am doing to same while staying to struggle through the frustrations in the SBC.

Our brother @cuatronelson is correct. The SBC is too far gone. We can do far more by moving on and building something new, than we can trying to put lipstick on this dying pig.* *I pray I'm wrong, and those trying to save the SBC are successful. Just don't see it happening.

You can love Christ's Bride as much as you want to.

@BrandonGaster @JW_Lumley We are presently "independent," brother, if by that you mean not a part of a formal network. But we regularly partner with other churches in furthering Christ's mission.

@cuatronelson @JW_Lumley Are you leading your church to be independent?

@BrandonGaster @JW_Lumley If the SBC permanently falls to progressives, so be it. The Lord Jesus is already raising up many faithful churches across this Nation. Christ has come to build His church, not conventions.

@cuatronelson @JW_Lumley I’ve personally seen it improve. We must continue. If the SBC permanently falls to the progressives, it’s not going to go well for Christianity in the US. The SBC is my heritage. I don’t think it’s good to give up heritage.

@BrandonGaster @JW_Lumley Brother, let me offer a gentle rebuke: You're thinking in terms of chariots and horses. I don't mean to say God hasn't used and can't use the SBC. But, no, the SBC is not necessary to the mission of Christ advancing.

One of the functions of the 10 Commandments is the civil restraining of evil in a society. The government has a great interest in posting them publicly. The church has a great interest in preaching them as a mirror that reveals our sin so as to point sinners to Christ.
