That's an isolated series of calls in game that simply didn't matter. Of more concern was the slow start JD5 had after virtually no preseason snaps or inter squad scrimmages, he was poor in week 1 and got frustrated in week 2 getting injured trying to make a play. That's all on Quinn.

Kingsbury being gone doesn’t bother me. The offense put Jayden in harm’s way far too often, and the out-of-nowhere tackle-eligible and wildcat calls drove me insane. Wish him the best, but if No. 5 is the future, that system wasn’t it.

@Alex_MacKay7 @TailgateTed It worked last year but they weren’t great this year and too many times defenses had JD under wraps. I think they need more balance in the run game and the Minnesota game going 3 passes on 2nd and goal didn’t make sense. Not that it mattered ultimately

@cunningham_bri @TailgateTed He built that offense and JD5 operated in it, in that order, as soon as DQ put in the holiday camp with minimal live fire reps, you could see how undercooked Jayden was and the team couldn't cover it.
