At the risk of being unpopular, I do believe there will be an increase fuel prices since we can’t have oil companies bleeding Rs 1000 crores a day (it’s still the taxpayer’s money) and controlling prices artificially doesn’t make sense either. Economists on @X please weigh in.

Tell me what is the vision of the TMC, SP, SAD, SS, MNS, DMK, etc for the rest of India? Why do they have such a disproportinate say in national politics? When it comes to the Lok Sabha elections they do not even bother making a proper pan India manifesto. But they control national politics. I get them having a say in the state elections and municipal elections. But why should India be held hostage to some parochial regional outfit?
